LISA SEIFERT
The most important thing you need to know is that I love my job and I love to help people.
My love for real estate started when my husband and I bought a flower shop on Balboa Island using a form we bought at an office supply store. There we sat, negotiating with and helping the old owner finally realize her dream of retirement, and I got to start out as a young woman owning my first business! It hit me at that moment how powerful buying and selling real estate could be and how it could change lives.
Four years later it was time for a change and there I sat negotiating and selling a business. This time, however, I was on the other side of the table. The real estate agent we acquired was not meeting our needs and made us feel insignificant. So, once again, it was up to us to do the negotiating, nurturing, and planning to see the deal through to completion. It was challenging but very rewarding and from that moment on I was hooked. Selling the flower shop allowed my husband and me to fulfill our dream of moving to Crestline to "get away from it all" and start a whole new life.
Shortly after moving to Crestline the real estate market really started to heat up and I saw the opportunity to use my design skills and love for real estate to buy, rehab, and sell homes. It was love at first sight. My only problem was finding a real estate agent I could trust.
It was at this point that I decided it was time to get my real estate license. I wanted to have the opportunity to treat my clients the way I would liked to be treated. I felt, after being on all sides of the transaction and knowing how it felt, my experiences would be a great advantage to my clients. I knew all the anxiety and emotional turmoil that came from being the buyer or seller. I also knew how much it was needed to have someone there you could really trust to walk you hand-in-hand to the end. I wanted so much to be the one to help people see their dreams become a reality by buying or selling a home or business. The only regret I have is that I didn't start this career sooner.
My clients have become like family and it has been such an honor to serve them. I make sure my clients feel protected, secure and fully taken care of through the whole process (and even afterward.) It is hard to call what I do a "job" because it brings me such joy. I hope to have the opportunity to help you and your family fulfill your dreams as well.
